Our Story

It all began in 1984, when the US courts ordered the breakup of AT&T and Bellsouth. Many of those employees were faced with new yet difficult choices, and both companies were forced to start the layoff process.

It was at this point that one man and his wife set out with a vision for providing quality service to the telecom industry. This vision brought the birth of All Sound Equipment (ASE), later to become ASE Telecom & Data, a State of Florida Certified, Specialty Electrical Contractor; that “man and his wife” were Juan F. Perez and Maria E. Perez, Founders, originally from Havana Cuba.

Around the same time, the Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI) Organization established the RCDD, Registered Communications Distribution Designer certification, for individuals educated in the proper design, integration and implementation of voice, video, data and security systems. This organization's certifications were, and still are, considered the MUST HAVE certification for cable installers and designers who wanted to specialize in complex voice/data cable layouts.

Demonstrating unchallengeable commitment and superior installation techniques, ASE Telecom & Data soon achieved the BICSI RCDD certification and became a recognized and respected structured cabling services company in the South Florida market place.

Not leaving their strong sense of family value behind, Juan & Maria Perez soon teamed up with their two sons, Javier and Danny Perez. Under their watchful eye & the integration of the younger leadership, ASE Telecom & Data quickly achieved unprecedented growth, both in the public & private sectors.

Today, ASE Telecom & Data is a fully insured and bondable communications cabling company with approximately 70 field personnel and more than 30 vehicles, serving customers from Orlando to the Florida Keys.

ASE’s team of experienced RCDD’s, project managers, installers, and technicians have literally completed hundreds of installations for customers in both the public and private sectors.

To ensure compliance with Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) standards, ASE performs rigorous testing on all components, channels and cable links during installation. Test results are provided to customers in electronic soft copy as part of the installation's "As-Built" CAD documentation package.

In order to stay knowledgeable on all the latest standards and emerging technologies, ASE continually submits its workforce for training with the cooperation of our manufacturer and distributor partners. In turn, this allows us to provide you, our customers, with excellence and quality in the delivery of our products and services which is what ASE is synonymous with.

Our customers look to us for vision, guidance, expertise, strength and stability. Our customers know that we will be around next week, next month, and for many years to come. Customers know that they can depend on us. While your business needs and priorities may change over time, ASE will be there to help you build your business.
